Art Building Children’s Dreams

Featured again this year is a local registered Canadian charity ABCD: Art Building Children’s Dreams, founded 15 years ago by local artist and art teacher, Frank Smith. His charity operates in 8 villages on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
Through fundraising, ABCDreams is able to pay school fees for about 100 secondary school students…even as far as post-secondary education! The charity also:
- funds a breakfast program that feeds 5000 primary school children a hot breakfast every day of the school year.
- funds a local group of mamas to make menstrual care kits for secondary school girls
- funds the repair and maintenance of the village schools
Please visit his website at www.abcdreams.ca. Frank will be joining us at the show.
